What should I bring to class?
Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable exercise clothes.
We recommend nothing too loose or baggy because it can become a distraction during your practice.  Be prepared to practice in your bare feet (shoes are removed prior to entering the yoga room) unless taking a restorative class, where socks are encouraged.

Do I need to be flexible to practice yoga?
No experience or flexibility is required to practice Yoga.  Yoga is for everyone and every body.

Do the teachers make adjustments to the students?
Yes, our teachers will assist students by making adjustments during their practice.

What if I am not comfortable with adjustments?
Adjustments are very personal.  Whether or not you are open to adjustments can change depending on the place you are in each day.  If you prefer no adjustments during your practice, please place one of our “no thanks” cards on your mat to let our teachers know.

Can I eat before class?
We recommend practicing on an empty stomach.  Or at least two hours after eating.

Is the studio space available to rent?
Yes, our studio space is available to rent at a rate of $35/hour with a two hour minimum.  Email us at for hours of availability and more information.
I am a beginner, what classes are right for me?
Classes marked with an asterick (*) are appropriate for all levels. Regardless of the level of class, all students are encouraged to listen to their body and take breaks whenever needed.

Can I bring water to class?
Yes, it is important to stay hydrated especially in summer months.

Can my teanager/tween practice at your studio?
Yes, we encourage teenagers/tweens to develop a yoga practice.  A few things to consider:
  • Are they excited to practice yoga?
  • Can they follow directions and stay focused on an activity for 75 minutes?  Without disrupting the other students?
  • Will you be able to focus on your own practice rather than worrying about your child?

If you answered yes to all of these, then you and your child are ready to practice.  Parents are required to take class with all children under 18.  Requests for children to practice under the age of 10 will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.  Please email us at for additional information.

Is pricing different for my teegager/tween?
No, the pricing is the same.  Unlimited packages are can be shared between two family members.  Class packages of 10 or more classes can be shared between multiple family members.
